Charlie AKA Spago - adopted

Hi Teresa,
We've had Charlie (Spago) for about 7 months now and it seems like he's always been here! He minds very well now. It took a few months to teach him to come, sit and stay, but he's very smart. He still likes to chew so we've been very careful about leaving shoes around and making sure he has lots of toys that he can chew. None of his toys have ears for very long! haha. He's really a great dog. I've attached a couple of pictures for you to see how he's just snuggled his way into our hearts. He is absolutely wonderful with kids, actually I think he's happiest when surrounded by them. My daughter's 6th birthday party was in September and I really didn't know what to expect. He just followed the kids around and tried to be in every picture. All the neighborhood kids know his name and stop to pet him and hug him when we go for walks.
The pictures I attached: 1 is him getting in the mix at the birthday party. 1 is him playing with my brother in law's lab, they do nothing but chase each other around and play. They get along real well. 1 picture is "spider dog" at Halloween. I don't dress him up, but on Halloween he wore his costume and went trick or treating with the kids. He helped my daughter open her presents on christmas morning. He got a few presents from Santa and at first didn't understand, then he found out there's cool treats or toys in those packages and started tearing them open, FUNNY!
Anyway, this is just a quick update on Charlie. He's the best family dog! Thank you so much for rescuing him! We really enjoy having him apart of our family. I don't think he minds the situation either, he's very attached to my daughter and he's absolutley SPOILED!
This is a great breed (Hava-Apso) I never heard of a Havanese before we adopted Charlie, but he is truly a gentle and fun dog.
