Hi Tera, Zara and Teresa!
We love this little girl, she fits right in and has even gotten Gracie to play with her--Cardi plays all the time but Grace is a little stand-offish sometime--like reserving her judgement. All the girls accepted her really quickly, with Bayleigh, it took awhile but Ivy is so sweet, what can I say?
We named her "Ivy Dancing in Sunshine." It fits her to a "T." She dances when she walks and is just the happiest little girl. She already responds to her new name, Ivy, and is a fast learner, already mastering the doggie door and stairs. I love that she doesn't bark all that much--only twice since we brought her home, and she doesn't beg (unlike my Cardi).
Not wanting to leave her alone with the other dogs, we took her with us to the groom expo in Pasadena on Sunday. Everyone fell in love with her and couldn't believe she was a rescue.
She is friendly with both of us and all the girls, but seems to have chosen me to sleep and sit with. She is truly a treasure. Needless to say, she has found her forever home with us.
