Hi!
In case you may not remember us, my wife Jenny and adopted Sabre from DPS back in late August of this year. Last weekend we took a trip to our local store and ran into two DPS workers who remembered Sabre from his early days with your group (I can't recall their names). They were so happy to see him, and to see how healthy he is. They asked us to send some pictures for your new website, which I've included in this email. Let us know if you need any more. Some of these were taken in low light, so they quality isn't the best - but he sure does look cute!
Sabre is doing very well, and we're so happy to have him as a part of our family! He recently graduated from dog "middle school", and will soon be graduating from dog "high school". He's very smart, and has already mastered many commands. He's currently learning how to heel, and to ring a bell when he needs to go potty outside. He gets lots of love and attention, and in turn so do we. :) We can't thank you enough for helping us find him.
Cheers,
Dave
Dear DPS Workers,
It's been 1 year since we adopted Sabre from you at the Petco in San Jose, CA. Since then he's become an important member of our family, and has grown quite a bit. He's graduated from doggy "middle school" and "high school", has travelled all over the West Coast (LA 2 times, Carmel 4 times, Lake Tahoe, and even Oregon for a dog-friendly wedding), and has increased his confidence enough that he's finally able to stay by himself (he's an independent "big dog" now). He's even become a regular at Dave's work (he's won over even non dog-lovers). But through all of this time, he hasn't lost the charm and gentle nature that makes him the "million dollar dog" you told us he was. We can't thank you enough for rescuing him so he could be a part of our family.
Sincerely,
David and Jenny
