Hi Teresa!
I just wanted to give you an update on Mochie, well Shelby, I changed her name and she picked it up quite quickly!! She is doing wonderfully! She comes to work every day with me and has made TONS of new friends, her favorites are my boss's dog, a 3 year old golden retriever named Pearl, my co worker's dog, a 2 year old blue pit bull named Belle, brody a 1 year old dauschund, and molly a crazy little havanese. She's up front with a goup of about 10 dogs everyday and she absolutly LOVES them. She runs and plays non stop, she is indeed the biggest play monster at work! She loves to run the dogs out, which my boss fully appriciates! She even helps out with many of our interviews for new clients at work.
I have not seen any aggressive behavior towards any other dog, only a slight over protective behavior of the couch at work and it's been towards people, which I am dilligently working on with her. A few weeks ago she went with me to my sisters, she had a blast playing with my 2 year old nephew and his 4 year old friend! Overall she's been really good, she's becomming quite the little barker though, which I am also working on with her.
She's picked up the rules of the house which i set up for her (don't go in other people's rooms unless invited, stay out of the garage, stay off the coffee table, and no eating on the couch, scratch when you need to go out to potty) overall she is a fantastic dog, and am so glad to have her!
