Sputnik - adopted

Hello!
I wanted to get in touch because I adopted Sputnik last week in San Jose. I have always tried to be in touch with the rescue organizations of my adopted pets to let them know how things are going, and I wanted to let you all know how great he is doing. I've decided to keep the name since it's a little silly just like him. Sputnik and my other dog, Emma, have been getting along great and we've been going for lots of walks. This morning Sputnik woke me at 5 AM with little tugs on my sleeve, and frantically ran back and forth to the top of the stairs. When I followed him downstairs, he ran to the doggie door to show me that there was a skunk out on the deck. What a good boy he is! I'm amazed at how much he just seems to "get" so naturally, and I am so lucky to get to come home to such a good dog every day. I've enclosed some pictures of Sputnik goofing around at home.
