We adopted Pistachio last week and just wanted to give you an update on how she's doing. We decided to rename her Theodore Roosevelt because she "wields a big stick" around the house. She has quickly assimilated into the family and is one of the most happy and energetic dogs we've seen in a long time! Within about an hour of being home she began nuzzling up to everyone, jumping into the bed with us, and playing with our other two dogs. She quickly decided that this was her home. Her personality is the exact opposite of what we were expecting when we got her because she was so timid and scared at first. We were expecting it to take awhile for her to become comfortable with our family but it took her no time at all. She has some issues with strangers and men, but we're working on them. Overall, she's a very happy and exuberant dog and we're happy to have her as part of our family.
